This place has a fast food feel, but it's just good food fast. Really good Mexican food. For the price, this place is outstanding. If the police eat here, you know you're good. Love the guacamole.

Excellent food quality. Largest selection of Fresh-Mex toppings I've found in all of South Florida! My wife prefers plain tomatoes and corn (rather than salsas which include onions and peppers), this is the first location we've found that offers both as independent options. Steak and Ground Beef are excellent. Unique protein options including a 5-meat that is very tasty. Guacamole is always fresh and tastes great. They take extra care in building a great Nacho dish too. Friendly staff, they take pride in their food and listen closely to special requests. Larger portions than most Fresh-Mex restaurants that charge more. Very inexpensive, particularly considering the quality of food and portions. The staff is constantly out cleaning tables and condiments, the server-your-own salsas are always fresh. Hours are great (Sun-Wed 10pm, Thu-Sat Midnight) Only down side: If they're slow, the chicken may be a bit tough. The staff is so friendly, they may be willing to make you fresh chicken if you ask. Note: Their green sauce is Jalapeno (not Tomatillo). Much spicier than Tomatillo, so be careful before you go loading it onto your burrito! Summary: Highly recommended! I feel it's the best Fresh-Mex in the area. A hidden gem most aren't aware of, due to the location. Much better than Tacos Al Carbon yet equally economic.

I think this place opened late last year. Relatively new. Crazy Taco is basically a more Mexicanized version of Chipotle. Go up to a counter and order, then choose your toppings. I got a carne asada burrito and asked for a chorizo taco but they were out of chorizo, so I got a Barbacoa taco instead. The burrito came with most of the available toppings while the taco I added only a couple including cilantro. Came with chips and salsa, chips were going stale. I got a corn tortilla on the taco and it fell apart as I started to eat it. Average food overall. Place was clean, spacious....and completely empty while I was there. It's more lunch type of food anyway so maybe they're more active then. But with El Paso taco right next door I wonder if they'll compete well. They do benefit from a more visible spot.

I was kind of skeptical when I got there since there was only one customer when we arrived but more people came after us and I'm so glad my boyfriend and I still gave it a shot. The food is authentic Mexican food and the prices are very reasonable. The portions are so big and for the price we just said: forget Chipotle lol. We both got the combo of burrito steak which brings chips and a fountain drink. It is similar to Chipotle were you tell them what you want on your food and watch as they do it but way cheaper. They even heated up the burrito for us! They were so delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly! Will definitely return!

Not bad at all. You definitely get your money's worth because you can put as many toppings as you like! The steak was seasoned well and the spicy pork is the right amount of spice, but for some reason I didn't like the steak ranchero (maybe just not my taste). Overall this place has a lot of potential but I would bump it up a notch, having a lot of Hispanic food around this area.

I had a taco to go because this was my first time and I was rushing to get to my meeting. The service was quick, the young lady behind the counter was nice and gave me everything I wanted ( I loaded my single taco up with toppings). I would definitely go back again. The one taco was a little pricey being that it was just one but the ingredients are fresh so

My wife and I love this place! It's like a cheaper authentic chipotle. Build your own Mexican food. Excellent, fresh, authentic meats. Clean, attentive staff. Please help us spread the word about this place!

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant after running errands all day and I'm really glad we gave this place a try!!! The staff is really pleasant and helpful. It was our first time here and they allowed us to sample different things to decide what we wanted. I decided on Chicken Quesadilla and my hubby had a Burrito and we both really liked our food!!! It was authentic and flavorful!! And the bathrooms were clean, that's a really big thing for me!!! The only drawback I have is that they were playing NatGeo Wild on the TV, no one wants to look at bugs and those nasty things while they're eating... Bottom line, I would definitely come back here again...

A friend and I actually had no intentions of eating here, we were just there to use their restroom, but after smelling their food we decided to give it a try. This is honestly the best Mexican I've had in a long while, I had 2 carne asada tacos and the price was good, too. The restaurant was incredibly clean [especially the bathrooms] and the girls working the counter were very polite. Would highly recommend and will definitely return soon.

It was Cinco de Mayo and my family and I were the celebratory mood. With all of the "authentic" Mexican restaurants completely packed, we really weren't looking for a 45 minute wait. Seeing the coming soon sign some months ago while driving by, I decided to check yelp. We drove by but we were a little apprehensive at first but decided to give it a shot. The food was better than we anticipated and just as "authentic". The staff was very friendly and courteous and the eating area was nice and clean. My husband and I both had the taco salad which was a good portion size and very flavorful without being overly salty; my kids had the burrito and they seemed to enjoy it as well. I would definitely go again if I wanted something quick and flavorful without a 45 minute Wait. Definitely a pleasant surprise!

Great service. Awesome food. I'M SO FULL. HUGE burrito. Kills Chipotle! Fair prices. I have a food coma from that burrito but I couldn't stop eating it.

Good stuff! Carne Asada burrito with whatever fixings I wanted and a chorizo taco on the side. Totally stuffed. They grill the burrito too. My wife had a bowl with chicken and all sorts of goodies. Definitely coming back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
